Niranjan Rajesh

I am a graduate student in the Cognitive Science Department @ UCSD where I work with Meenakshi Khosla on understanding neural representations in biological and artificial neural networks. I hope to uncover the algorithms that help us perceive, understand and learn from the world around us.

Previously, I worked in visual neuroscience as a Research Assistant in the Vision Lab @ IISc. And before that, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Ashoka University, where I wrote my undergraduate thesis on understanding the behavior of deep neural networks.

When I am not thinking about how we see in an academic setting, I put the marvel of sight to good use by watching every sitcom in existence.
